Daily Weather File - Download

The daily weather file is received from the National Weather Service and is uploaded to the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service Web site usually by 1:00 p.m. daily. This text file contains daily maximum and minimum temperatures for each of 13 weather zones for the state of Arkansas. General weather zones are as follows:

Zone 1 - Fayetteville (columns 1 and 2)

Zone 2 - Gilbert (columns 3 and 4)

Zone 3 - Keiser (columns 5 and 6)

Zone 4 - Clarksville (columns 7 and 8)

Zone 5 - Morrilton (columns 9 and 10)

Zone 6 - Marianna (columns 11 and 12)

Zone 7 - Mena (columns 13 and 14)

Zone 8 - Hot Springs (columns 15 and 16)

Zone 9 - Hope (columns 17 and 18)

Zone 10 - Camden (columns 19 and 20)

Zone 11 - Stuttgart (columns 21 and 22)

Zone 12 - Rohwer (columns 23 and 24)

Zone 13 - Eudora (columns 25 and 26)

The 26 columns reflect the maximum and minimum temperatures for each of the 13 weather zones, with the maximum appearing in the first column and the minimum appearing in the second column. The last number in each row is the Julian date of the reported data.

Download Historical Weather Data (1987-2008) - This link downloads historical files containing weather files for each of the years 1987 - 2007 in a zipped format. Each file name is DAYDD.XX where XX is the last two digits of the corresponding year.
