Soil and Water ManagementThe Cooperative Extension Service provides educational assistance and information on issues dealing with soil fertility, soil and water conservation, and water quality protection and utilization. A key component is providing fertilizer and lime recommendations to county clientele based on soil test results backed up by University of Arkansas research. Fact sheets, newsletters, demonstrations, and county and area meetings and training sessions are utilized to provide information to clientele on soil and water issues and concerns. |
