The Pest Crew

Steve Vann John Hopkins Becky McPeake

Every day, Arkansas’ homes, lawns and gardens are under siege by destructive insects, diseases and wildlife. How do you cope with them? How do you get rid of them? How do you prevent these problems in the first place?

That’s where the Pest Crew come in. Each of these three experts has years of experience and are known across Arkansas for their pest-wise ways.

The Pest Crew are:

  • Insects: Dr. John Hopkins, Assistant Professor-Extension Entomologist
  • Wildlife: Dr. Becky McPeake, Associate Professor-Extension Specialist - Wildlife
  • Diseases: Dr. Stephen Vann, Assistant Professor-Urban Extension Plant Pathologist

We invite you to submit questions about your home, lawn and garden bug-a-boos to the Pest Crew.

Due to the volume of inquiries, it will be impossible to answer all questions individually. For urgent problems, contact your local county extension office. See our contact list at: http://www.uaex.edu/findus/county_offices.htm

Feel free to explore our site: www.arhomeandgarden.org, where you can find practical house and garden advice among hundreds of publications, feature stories and Q & A archives.

If you’re not from Arkansas, visit www.csrees.usda.gov/qlinks/partners/state_partners.html to find your state’s contact information.
