Leprechaun - Ornamental Prunus

Date of Release - 1993; Plant patent # 8508.

Tree Characteristics - Brachytic dwarf; mature trees average 4-5' height; 6' wide.

Fruit Type - Nectarine, edible, ripens late July.

Leaf Characteristics - Green; leaves longer than standard peach, 9" length; very dense foliage.

Bloom Characteristics - single flowers (5 petals); pink; blooms with other peaches

Comments - For use as an ornamental shrub or patio container plant. Resistant to bacterial spot.
