Type and Color - Seedless table grape; blue.
Date of Release - 1977; not patented.
Berry Flavor - Combination of V. labrusca and muscat; 16
percent soluble solids.
Berry Size - Medium, 3 grams.
Berry Texture - Slipskin; skin thickness similar to many eastern table
grapes.
Cluster Size - Medium-large, 250 grams average.
Yield - Moderate to high, 8 to 10 tons/acre in research trials.
Maturity Date - Early, approximately July 19 at Clarksville, Arkansas,
the earliest ripening of the Arkansas varieties.
Hardiness - Moderately hardy, and no hardiness limitations have been
observed in numerous years of production in Arkansas.
Comments - Medium vigor; resistant to fruit cracking; moderate
resistance to common fungal diseases but does require fungicide sprays for
successful production; seed traces often noticeable.
