Weed pressures can
be reduced next year by making a written record of this year's weed problems.
Before harvesting this year's crop go into your fields and make a written
record of this year's weed situation.
What types of weeds were in the fields?
Which fields were the weeds located in?
And what herbicides were used? What herbicides worked and what did not work?
It is important to record this information before harvest because it will all
be erased in the field after harvest.
You can consult your information next year to have an idea of what to expect,
what weed management strategies worked and what did not work to ensure a more
productive harvest.
