[Ronnie Bateman, Nematode Specialist] Once the sample has been taken in the
field, you’ve properly bagged them and tagged them, the next step in getting
them prepared to send to the Nematode Diagnostic Clinic is to fill out the
appropriate form for your sample. [Computer screen showing the form] The form is
now used, has to be filled out online, they are electronic. The web address for
that online address is
www.dddi.org/ua.
[Terry Kirkpatrick. Picture of a person in a lab looking at samples] Alright,
once the nematode sample has been assayed and the nematodes have been counted
and identified, [Picture of a person looking at samples through a microscope]
the report goes back to the grower. And the report goes by email unless a
special request we can mail paper copies but most are emailed [sample of a paper
report], will have the identifying information here, the results [sample of
results], just spread sheet of all the possible nematodes that could be found
and then where those were found [sample of results with arrow pointing to number
of nematodes found]. And then the bottom section on this form will just be a
real short summary of control measures or suggested things to do to try to
mitigate this damage and to deal with this issue. [sample of results with arrow
pointing to recommendations]
