The Farm Foundation’s Forum on Agriculture/Food/Rural Policy Platforms of the
Presidential Candidates by Robert Coats Extension Economist University of Arkansas Division of
Agriculture.
The Farm Foundation has organized a series of public forums to engage all
stakeholders in informed dialogue on food, agricultural and rural policies. The
participants examine current policies, explore and analyze alternative policy
proposals, and give voice to new proposals. Speakers provide brief topic
summaries, with the majority of time devoted to discussion.
The Farm Foundation works as a catalyst for sound public policy by providing
objective information to foster a deeper understanding of issues shaping the
future for agriculture, food systems and rural regions. The Farm
Foundation is not lobby or advocate.
