The President Delivers The State of the Union Address
Article II, Sec. 3, of the U.S. Constitution states: "The President shall
from time to time give to Congress information of the State of the Union and
recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and
expedient."
On January 28, 2008 President Bush delivered his State of the Union address.
In the State of the Union message the President reflected on the past while
presenting his hopes for the future to Congress, the American people and the
world.
