USDA’s 2008 Farm Bill Side-By-Side Comparison Released
USDA’s Economic Research Service has released their web-based 2008 Farm Bill
Side-By-Side Comparison, which compares key components of the 2008 Farm Bill
with the previous Farm Bill or the 2002 Farm Bill. The new farm bill became law
on June 18, 2008. The farm bill sets priorities for a broad range of farm and
food related programs over the next 5 years or for years 2008-2012.
USDA’s new 2008 Farm Bill side-by-side site includes features such as an
A-to-Z list of major provisions, a user's guide, and a search function.
