Feel like slowing down?

We invite you to get off life's busy highway and take a back road to relaxation. Cruise the open road while discovering more than 300 agritourism activities.

Warning Sign - Slow, exit to back road, fun aheadAgritourism is more than visiting a farm ... it's teaching children the satisfaction of picking their own fruit. It's uncovering hidden gems at a crafts fair or enjoying down-home cooking you just can't get in the city.

Agritourism offers out-of-the-ordinary experiences such as U-pick operations and farmers' markets, winery tours, festivals and fairs, hiking, rock climbing, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.

It gives families the opportunity to reconnect by slowing down from the stress of every day life to focus on enjoying each other. Whether you need to recharge for a weekend or a month, you'll find it all here.

Take a back road and discover rural Arkansas!

Arkansas Agritourism Initiative in partnership with: U of A Division of Agriculture, U of A Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, The National Agricultural Law Center, Arkansas Agriculture Department and Arkansas Farm Bureau.

Established in 2008, the Arkansas Agritourism Initiative’s purpose is to serve as an advocate for agritourism in Arkansas, promote individual agritourism ventures, and provide real solutions to obstacles affecting industry growth and development.
